Well, my hubby did it...he got his master's degree. I am so freakin' proud of him. Now he is not only super hot...but smart too! He got his Master's of accountancy in only two summers. That is hard work and he did it with a smile. What a man!! We have had a couple of busy weeks. My parents and Ryan's family (mom, dad, Janelle & Reid) all came for his graduation. It was really fun to see family again. All of us went golfing and had a great time (kind of). It was really hot and like 210% humidity so we were sweaty and hot. Then Thursday evening they had a graduation dinner for the graduates, spouses, parents and in-laws. It was really fun. We dressed up all fancy pants. We ate (of course) and danced and then to top it off they had fireworks just for the occassion. It was in a building with glass windows that looked over the St. Joseph river and it was beautiful. Then Friday, August 10th, Ryan graduated. Yeah!!! What a momentous occassion...and to celebrate we went to Buffalo Wild Wings for Linner. It was delicious and good times for all. On Saturday, we packed up and said goodbye to Notre Dame. Back home now and normal ol' daily life. So...all in all the summer was good but it sure is good to be home.
Here are my top five reasons for being so proud of my hubby.
1. He got his Masters in two summers.
2. He NEVER studied on Sundays (except for that one time)
3. He always studied after the boys were asleep so he could help me with them.
4. He made me feel like his #1 even when he was so busy.
5. He is so freakin smart, awesome, amazing, hot, kind, patient, loving, etc..okay you get the picture.
One more grumpy note. The Wednesday before we left South Bend our car and truck got broken into. The creeps stole our CD system out of the car and jacked up the door handle to get in. They tried to steal the CD system in the truck but failed but they did damage the plastic dilithingy that goes over the AC and radio area. So an unhappy ending to the summer but...don't worry, be happy! Ya..whatever!
