Mom

There is just something about moms that is great. I Love my mom. It's always so nice to have her come. I don't feel like I have to entertain her. She totally LOVES my boys. She HAS to see them every few months or she goes crazy. She doesn't feel obligated to play with them she actually WANTS to play with them. She calls them. She misses them when she's not here. So, really it has absolutely NOTHING to do with me but all to do with the boys. With that said, I will totally take her. I love to have her come. I LOVED that they surprised me for my birthday. That was super fabulous. I also love having Hayes' around. I wish Creed could come more often too but since he's a big Jr. high schooler - he can't be truant.

Little story: A few days before my mom came out here she and their little dog, Dusty, were "attacked" by a huge dog. He didn't bite them or anything but it scared her. So, we went running while she was here. We were running down a country road when we heard a guy start yelling. We turn around and he is yelling at his dog to stop because it is chasing us. It's a little dog. An annoying yapper but we don't really look at it we just starting hauling down the street. We are sprinting. There is a 4-way stop so we bolt across the intersection, jump a little swamp area and my mom runs behind a realtor sign for protection while I start to climb a flimsy vinyl fence. It's then that we turn and actually see the dog. It's about the size of a rat and it's a baby puppy. So little that it practically gets stuck in the swamp. My mom picks it up and takes it back to it's owner. I totally wonder what the cars at the intersection were thinking as they saw two grown woman sprinting from a sweet little innocent puppy that was no bigger than a soccer ball. It was awesome. After this scary incident, we had to stop running because we were laughing so hard we couldn't breathe. It was awesome.

I also need to put in a little plug for my dad. Thanks dad for watching Creed and holding down the fort so that mom and Hayes could come. I'm sure it was your hard earned money that helped fly her out here so muchas gracias padre. Love you too.
