My sister and her hubby are chicken/turkey farmers. Anyways, they raise free range chickens and turkeys. They got some new land to raise the birds on and so we went to check out their new farm. This is Taegen in front of the turkeys. There were some big turkeys. I attempted to help Shawnee with the farm chores but failed miserably after the turkeys kept pecking my toes. Flip flops were a bad idea. They have sold a lot of their turkeys but they have more if you are looking for local, homegrown produce for Thanksgiving...then this is the place to go.
These are another brand of turkey. Strider, Ryan and Taegen actually got to help feed these turkeys and such. Kyler and Saffron just climbed fences. (below)

They also have egg layers. We got to get the eggs. The egg mobile Danny and my dad made over the summer. You will have to check out Shawnee and Danny's website. It has full pics and details off the egg mobile and the turkeys and chickens.
