Strider's Blessing
Today we blessed Strider at church. It was great! We invited our neighbors to the blessing so we had a breakfast at our house before church with everybody. We had breakfast casserole and sticky buns..yum yum! Then we went to church and Ryan did a great job with the blessing. We were glad that Ryan's dad could be here to participate. Ryan blessed Strider that he would have a "quiet confidence about himself" and that he would love unconditionally. He also blessed him that he would learn those things he needed to progress both temporally and spiritually and that he would be an example to his peers. I think those are some pretty amazing blessings, don't you think? I'm so glad to have a hubby that is worthy to bless our children. Thanks honey for being such a good example to me!

He's so adorable. So, I was totally there, but didn't get to listen at all because I had to say "Shh, be quiet, WHISPER!" every 1.2 seconds to Jake and Emily. Kevin asked me how it was, and I was like, "uh I'm sure it was a beautiful blessing, but I have no idea what was said."
So I promised I would be there, and I was. Just so you know.
PS I left my sunglasses at your house...
Love the outfit! Are you sure this kid is only one month old? Anyhow we are driving straight thru on Wed. We had a family tragedy are are booking it home for the funeral. We won't be able to stay long so I am unsure if I will have a chance to see you & your babes. But I will do my best seeing as though I will probably not come home again until June. Strider will be throwing a football by then!
