I'm losing my mind and my shoes

I don't understand many things but most of all I don't understand how I could lose a pair of my shoes. Seriously, I haven't been able to find one of my two pairs of sneakers. They were my favorite pair and are white sketchers that I got last year for Christmas. I haven't been able to find them in over a week. They aren't in the toy box, kitchen cupboards, closet, hamper, bathroom, bedroom, office...anywhere. I am baffled! If the kids hid them...I have no idea where? Have any of you seen my shoes??
