Labor Day Camping Trip.

We were lucky enough to be able to go camping over Labor Day. So Fun. Seriously. It was a blast. The weather was perfect - 50's at night and 70's during the day. We had campsites that you had to walk into, meaning we had to carry everything like 50 yards to our campsite. I was worried at first but it was great. It meant...no cars and LOTS more privacy. It was great. We had dutch oven breakfast and dinner. Went hiking/walking. Had races up hills with cheaters who started way before the word Go. :) Went to the "beach". Swam. Smores. Dutch oven cobbler. Tree swings. Playground. Fire pit. Laughing. Rocks. Dirt. Sticks. Landon attacking (this one deserves an explanation - later). Friends. Hammock. Etc. It was F-U-N.

Ok - Landon explanation. We went with a few friends. Landon is 8 years old (I think). Anyways, the first day, Kyler kind of attached himself to Landon. He wanted to hold his hand and sit by him and everything. All was good and fine because Landon (unlike many 8 year olds) didn't mind little Kyler. Although, at one point, Kyler and Taegen kept bugging Landon while he was sitting down. We had gotten mad at them but we were making hot chocolate and what not. Anyways, long story short...They knocked Landon over and spilled chocolate milk ALL OVER Landon's face AND Kyler's hair. Landon started crying. T & K sat in time-out. But 5 minutes later, T & K went over to apologize and Landon, being so cute, said that's okay. And..they are friends again.

Strider boy. Let me just say that I don't think he quit throwing rocks the ENTIRE camping trip. He would just pick up handfuls of rocks and throw them. It was rather funny- as long as he wasn't throwing them at you.My BOYS. Can you tell Ryan forgot to bring his eye drops for his allergies?
Taeg man is ALL about camping. He absolutely LOVES every minute of it.
